THE MEMOIR-WRITING PROCESS

1. We will meet with you for an initial meeting to explain the service and the process.

2. We will provide you with memoir writing topics and ask you to complete them. (Note: Check the DIY Memoir section of this website for samples.)

3. You will complete the topics at your own pace, either by writing, typing, or recording your responses.

4. We will meet with you to review and discuss your responses, then take those responses and craft a first draft.

5.  We will meet with you a second time to have you read and respond to the first draft. We will discuss and note revisions and changes you would like to make to the first draft.

6.  We will take your responses to the first draft and revise to craft a second draft.

7. We will meet with you to review and discuss your responses to the second draft. If all is acceptable, we will finalize and format a finished copy for our next meeting.

8. We will provide a mock-up of the final copy for your review. If all is acceptable, we will proceed to printing and/or publishing.
